Gulam Nabi Azad

Gulam Nabi Azad is a renowned fashion designer and fashion business consultant who has been working in the industry for more then a decade. He started his career as a junior designer and gradually worked with several national and international brands. Starting from a junior position, he worked his way up to handling three departments in a company: designing, production, and merchandising. Eventually, he left his job and began consulting for small and large fashion brands in Mumbai while also starting his own fashion boutique. His boutique gained significant recognition and business in the market, but during the COVID lockdown, he had to keep it closed for a long time. After the lockdown ended, Azad observed that many small fashion boutiques and brands had either shut down or were on the verge of closing. He realized that while the big brands were still thriving, there was a need to help small brands grow. Since then, Azad has been consulting small fashion brands. He also recognized that there are many young people in our country who aspire to become fashion designers and start their own fashion businesses. To help them achieve their dreams, he made efforts to provide guidance and support.
